Whenever I plan my travel itinerary I worry whether the pictures and the text that describes my destination are honest and correct.
Even if it is how do I get unbiased facts about what is worth seeing? what about places to eat? how easy is it to travel? what is the standards of accommodation?
Don't take our word for it!
Whenever a potential guest asks these questions, although I am sure that I try to answer honestly, I do so from a Welsh perspective; a wide road to me may seem to be a cart track to someone from Texas.
Ask someone from your area
With this in mind I thought it would be nice if there was someone that had recently visited the area and would be able to give honest, helpful advice. People from a large number of Countries, Counties and States have agreed that people considering a visit to our region can contact them to ask such questions about North Wales and Snowdonia.
Easy to use!
The website is very easy to use; you can click the link Countries above or to the right to see all countries and then click to find your own Ambassador. If you wish you can find a Ambassador from the UK or the USA by clicking the appropriate link. Even if your home country is not featured please contact someone from list and you never know after your visit to North Wales you may be inspired enough to volunteer to become your countries or county ambassador.
Over the next year we hope to eventually have someone from everywhere in the world.
We believe that our home of North Wales is beautiful, cultural, historic, friendly holiday destination with so much to see and do, but do not take our word for it ask one of your neighbours.
