We enjoyed our two visits to Wales, both in late Feb/Mar. For those of you who suffer through a Canadian winter, this was a nice break for us.Lots to see and do -fabulous views, ruins, castles, towns and villages. We traveled by car and tried to keep to the "back" roads, as much as possible--walked around ruins, crossed aqueducts, went down in the mines, visited castles, enjoyed the Great Orme, visited museums, a woollen mill and even enjoyed a day out with Thomas, the tank engine. Who said that only Kids enjoy Thomas! If you want more information on where we went and what we saw, just ask. Just wish someone could of helped point us in the right direction on our first trip - we missed a lot.
